Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Superintendent for our client's team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead ground-up multifamily residential projects within a reputable and expanding construction firm. The role involves overseeing all aspects of construction for multi-family developments, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, maintaining safety, schedule, and quality standards
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout project phases
• Develop and monitor project schedules, proactively addressing delays or challenges
• Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality control
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and ownership to coordinate project execution
• Manage material deliveries, site logistics, manpower, and daily field operations
• Maintain accurate daily reports, document progress, and communicate updates
• Lead field meetings and foster strong working relationships with subcontractors and trade partners
• Assist with preconstruction planning, subcontractor coordination, and site mobilization

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent overseeing ground-up multifamily construction projects
• Background working on apartment buildings, mid-rise residential developments, or townhome communities is preferred
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, subcontractor management, and quality assurance
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Capability to work independently during preconstruction and coordinate effectively with all project stakeholders
• OSHA certification and a valid driver's license are preferred

Compensation:
Salary range: $125,000 – $150,000, depending on experience
