Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Job Captain for our client's team. This award-winning design firm, located in West Orange, NJ, specializes in Higher Education, Healthcare, Science & Technology, and Institutional design. The position offers a professional challenge and exposure to all aspects of the design and construction process, fostering personal and professional development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the development of construction documents using Revit.
• Coordinate Revit models with consultants and develop BIM content and templates.
• Assist in construction administration duties.
• Serve as an in-house resource for Revit troubleshooting and support for team members.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
• Work independently on projects of varying size and scope.
• Effectively communicate with team members and clients, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Multi-task and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university or college.
• 3 to 6 years of Revit experience in design and production of construction documents.
• Experience in coordinating Revit files, developing families, and troubleshooting workflow issues.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
• Ability to develop and manage BIM-related content and Revit templates.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, professional work ethic.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience, high end of $90,000.00.
