Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Project Engineer for our client's team. This company specializes in construction, and the role involves supporting project execution through quality control, field surveys, and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
• Perform and manage field quality control tests and maintain production records.
• Conduct basic field surveys, resolve geometry issues, and prepare drawings or sketches to support construction work.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, design documents, and construction drawings.
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation issues, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
• Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) for submission to general contractors and engineers.
• Prepare project submittals for materials, work plans, and methods statements.
• Maintain and develop relationships with project stakeholders and clients.
• Support marketing and business development efforts by attending trade shows, conferences, and other events.
• Make technical presentations to prospects and assist with educational training for clients.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in construction or civil engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
• Ability to perform field surveys and read construction drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship management abilities.
• Prior experience with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation is a plus.

Compensation:
Salary range up to $80,000 annually.
