Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Project Manager for our client's team. This role involves overseeing the development of multifamily residential projects, including high-rise, mid-rise, low-rise, and affordable housing developments. The position is in person in Philadelphia, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse project pipeline within a globally recognized real estate development firm, with potential for long-term growth and regional leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the owner’s primary point of contact for projects
• Oversee all phases of development: pre-construction, design coordination, permitting, procurement, construction, and final turnover
• Represent ownership interests while managing general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders
• Monitor and manage project budgets, schedules, risk mitigation, and quality control
• Lead project meetings, oversee documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Review and approve construction documents, contracts, change orders, and pay applications
• Provide strategic insights to improve project delivery, cost-efficiency, and construction quality
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, permitting authorities, and affordable housing regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing multifamily real estate development or construction projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Prior experience as an Owner’s Representative, Developer, or with a Construction Management firm is highly preferred

Compensation:

• Salary range up to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience
• Competitive base salary plus an annual performance bonus
