Warehouse Manager – Erlanger, KY

The Axel Group is hiring a Warehouse Manager for our client located in Erlanger, KY. This role oversees daily operations that keep the supply chain running smoothly, safely, and efficiently, directly impacting order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and overall performance.

What You'll Do

• Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping workflows
• Audit and report inventory, resolve discrepancies through cycle counts and WMS reconciliation
• Manage and schedule warehouse staff, including training and performance evaluation
• Enforce OSHA and safety compliance, conduct safety audits and incident investigations
• Track KPIs such as order accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and labor cost per unit
• Optimize warehouse layout, slotting, and workflows to improve efficiency
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight scheduling
• Use WMS/ERP and AI-assisted tools for labor planning and process improvement

What You Bring

• Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems, barcode scanners, and inventory software
• Knowledge of logistics, shipping, receiving, and freight coordination
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and material-handling protocols
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or business preferred
• 3 to 8 years of warehouse or fabrication operations experience, including supervisory experience
• Certifications a plus: APICS CSCP, CLTD, OSHA 30, Lean/Six Sigma
