Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Construction Manager for our client's team. This role is ideal for an experienced leader in the high-end residential construction industry, responsible for managing and overseeing ultra-luxury custom home projects from groundbreaking to final turnover. The position offers an exciting opportunity to lead multi-million-dollar jobsites in a premier sector of bespoke homebuilding.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily on-site operations for exclusive luxury residence projects, ensuring seamless execution from foundational work through high-end finishing and client turnover.
• Develop and drive detailed construction schedules, coordinate specialized trade partners, and enforce strict quality control standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve site challenges, structural puzzles, and finish details to maintain project momentum.
• Oversee site activities including RFIs, material submittals, inspections, and safety compliance.
• Act as the polished, professional representative of the company on-site, interacting with clients, architects, and municipal officials to ensure excellent communication and service.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of on-site leadership experience as a Construction Manager or Lead Superintendent in the custom luxury home sector.
• Proven track record working with high-end custom home builders; production tract experience is not considered.
• Extensive knowledge of luxury residential assemblies, including deep foundations, elevated slabs, custom millwork, and advanced building envelopes.
• Polished, professional communication skills; a degree is not required if accompanied by proven field excellence.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $110,000 – $150,000 (target around $130,000 based on experience)
• Performance bonus program and vehicle allowance
