Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Safety Manager for our client's team. This role involves serving as the on-site authority responsible for interpreting and ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures. The Safety Manager will collaborate effectively with field supervision, employees, and subcontractors to promote a safe work environment while minimizing disruptions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, update, and implement site-specific and company safety programs and policies.
• Perform on-site safety inspections and assessments of construction activities and site conditions.
• Establish, review, and implement Infectious Control Plans in coordination with facilities.
• Identify safety violations, provide verbal and written warnings as needed, and verify corrective actions are completed.
• Conduct Safety Orientation for new personnel on site.
• Perform risk analysis for specific tasks and assist in developing plans to facilitate safe operations.
• Review and consult on setup, maintenance, and revisions related to site safety accommodations, equipment, signage, and postings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role within the construction industry.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: Dependent on Years of Expereince.
