Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a BIM Designer for our client's team in Downingtown, PA. This role involves working closely with the project management team to develop and deliver fully coordinated shop drawing packages, utilizing advanced BIM modeling techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Develop BIM models and perform clash detection to ensure coordinated project designs
• Create, modify, and update Revit families and models
• Collaborate with project management to develop shop drawings and models for coordination
• Attend project-related coordination meetings
• Manage and coordinate Revit models across multiple projects
• Engage with third-party engineers to complete fully engineered submittals
• Review work of team members for quality and accuracy
• Maintain and update drafting software and tools
• Establish and oversee standards of work and best practices
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Revit software
• Extensive knowledge of Navisworks and Revit
• Experience in 3D model quantity extraction and 4D scheduling using Navisworks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Revit
• Ability to modify and adapt files created by others
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, details, and specifications
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Capable of performing well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
$75,000 - $90,000 base salary
