Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Superintendent for our client's team. This position is within the construction industry and involves leading and managing all on-site construction activities. The role requires overseeing site operations, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities:

• Direct all daily on-site activities, including the layout and coordination of all subcontractors and third-party vendors.
• Act as the primary safety officer on-site, maintaining a zero-incident environment by enforcing OSHA, C&C, and site-specific safety policies.
• Schedule and manage all field inspections with local authorities, third-party quality control engineers, and surveyors.
• Develop and manage the construction schedule to ensure timely project completion; lead the creation of two-week look-aheads for updates.
• Lead daily and weekly subcontractor meetings and participate in (or lead) owner and design team meetings.
• Maintain accurate daily work logs, generate RFIs based on field conditions, and record detailed meeting minutes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in site management and construction supervision.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to develop and manage construction schedules effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.

Compensation:
Salary Range: Up to $135,000 per year
