Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join a dynamic construction team. This opportunity is based in Boston, MA, and offers a competitive salary along with excellent benefits. Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall administrative and technical direction for construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with design specifications.
  • Oversee all construction efforts, including interfacing with owner representatives, subcontractors, and lower management.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities of personnel assigned to projects.
  • Develop work schedules, determine manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment needs.
  • Maintain official project logs and documentation files, utilizing Procore or similar project management software.
  • Monitor and control construction progress through administrative oversight of on-site Superintendents.
  • Plan and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, engineering, material control, and daily administrative activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and interpretation of drawings, recommending suitable construction methods and equipment.
  • Ensure all personnel on-site comply with project procedures, safety protocols, and work rules.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Represent the company in project meetings and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to work.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction activities and related functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain good relationships with team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Understanding of construction plans and designs.
  • Proficiency in project management software, preferably Procore.

Compensation:
Salary range up to $160,000.00 annually.
