Overview: The Axel Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our client's team. This organization operates within the architecture and planning industry, and the role involves supporting business development and marketing efforts. The position requires a proactive professional capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative, graphic design, and communication support
  • Maintain a professional appearance to support meetings and outside activities
  • Prepare statements of qualifications and project proposals; update materials as needed
  • Renew and update certifications, subscriptions, and memberships
  • Support interview preparation by developing content and producing materials
  • Assist with referendum communication processes
  • Contact clients and consultants to gather information supporting marketing activities
  • Manage schedules for outside marketing events and conferences
  • Maintain and update advertising programs, including ads and sponsorships
  • Handle financial tasks such as requesting and remitting checks for marketing expenses
  • Coordinate all aspects of major marketing conferences, including booth arrangements, travel, and giveaways
  • Update and maintain the company’s website and marketing materials database
  • Produce monthly mailings and conduct weekly research scanning newspapers
  • Maintain organized filing systems for marketing materials
  • Provide back-up support for office switchboard and perform general office duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize workload, work independently, and exercise initiative
  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated with a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, Photoshop, PowerPoint, PageMaker, and ACT software
  • Knowledge of the organization of a professional firm
  • Previous experience in professional services or an engineering firm
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times

Compensation:

Salary up to $75,000.00 annually
