Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Superintendent for our client's construction team. This company specializes in residential construction, focusing on delivering high-quality homes on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of the construction process, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction schedule, ensuring timely completion of each home site.
  • Coordinate and schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of construction.
  • Evaluate the quality and efficiency of subcontractor work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Complete each home site from planning through occupancy, satisfying all contract obligations.
  • Inspect subcontractor workmanship and product quality, halting non-satisfactory or non-compliant work.
  • Authorize subcontractor payments once work standards and quality are verified.
  • Manage the customer experience throughout the construction process, including homeowner orientation and regular progress updates.
  • Conduct daily inspections to enforce quality standards and address any deficiencies.
  • Oversee community cleanliness and ensure the worksite remains orderly and visually appealing.
  • Handle post-close warranty processes, including assessing warranty requests, scheduling repairs, and managing quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in residential construction management or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and enforce quality standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:
Salary range up to $85,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience.
