Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking an Electrician for our client's team. This organization specializes in commercial construction projects and is committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality electrical installations. This position offers an opportunity to lead field operations, oversee electrical work, and contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership for field electricians, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with project management on plan review, take-offs, and job planning.
• Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain project schedules.
• Assign work to crew members, establishing clear expectations and managing manpower to meet production goals.
• Oversee installation of electrical feeders, distribution systems, lighting, and equipment such as motors, pumps, generators, switchgear, and panels, including all connections and terminations.
• Monitor project progress and adjust workflow accordingly, coordinating with other trades.
• Perform hands-on work when necessary to support production, training, and quality assurance.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including reports, time tracking, and safety records.
• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with safety procedures and standards.
• Assist with incident investigations and related documentation.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience leading electrical crews or serving in a leadership role on commercial or ground-up construction projects.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to high-quality workmanship and service.
• Experience with lighting installation or retrofit projects is a plus.

Compensation:
$35 to $45 per hour
