The Axel Group is seeking a Superintendent for our client's team. This role is pivotal in overseeing safety, site coordination, and daily operations on construction projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a safety leader, ensuring all safety protocols are followed, conducting safety meetings, and managing safety inspections. They will coordinate equipment and material deliveries, supervise site crews, and work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all project and company safety requirements are met.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) sessions.
• Conduct site safety orientations for all employees.
• Monitor and complete equipment inspections, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Report incidents, near misses, and good catches accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate safety concerns with site safety representatives, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Act as a strong safety leader and conduct safety audits.
• Attend all scheduling and coordination project meetings.
• Manage and supervise daily work assignments of the site crews.
• Coordinate equipment and material deliveries to the work site.
• Collaborate effectively with field engineers, project managers, and construction managers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in construction supervision and safety leadership.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team effectively.

Compensation:

• Salary: $120,000-135,000 per year.
