Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking a Superintendent for our client's team. This role is dedicated to overseeing residential construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality homes on time and within budget, while upholding safety, cleanliness, and quality standards throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily job site operations and coordinate subcontractors
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, OSHA standards, and company quality expectations
• Monitor project schedules, conduct inspections, and oversee overall progress
• Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Review plans, shop drawings, and proactively identify potential issues
• Track and complete punch lists and project documentation
• Communicate regularly with project managers and internal teams
• Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, and clients

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of residential construction experience, with preferred experience in homebuilding
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, trades, and scheduling
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore or similar preferred)
• OSHA certification is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with high-end or luxury residential projects
• Background in using project management tools like Procore

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk job sites, including roofs
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs as needed

Compensation:
Salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, based on experience.
