We represent a luxury builder near the Bonita Springs area that is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to add to their team. This role involves supporting daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience (can go slightly above for the right candidate).
Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and close processes
- Perform account reconciliations (balance sheet, intercompany, job cost)
- Support tax preparation by coordinating with external accounting firms
- Manage financials and bank draw processes for development entities
- Oversee credit card approvals and payments
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses
- Assist with annual budget preparation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve accounting processes
- Maintain documentation of accounting policies and procedures
Senior Staff Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Experience in construction or real estate development is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Sage 300 (or similar ERP)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
