Overview:
The Axel Group is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for our client's team. This organization is a leader in its industry, offering vital financial management services. The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the company's overall financial health.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, billing, and fixed asset tracking
• Ensure accurate coding and approval of invoices, expenses, and transactions in accordance with GAAP
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
• Manage customer billing, monitor accounts receivable, and oversee collections and reporting
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and assist with tax filings and insurance documentation
• Process bi-weekly payroll and support employee onboarding
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and KPI tracking
• Administer accounting and project management systems
• Supervise administrative and accounting staff and provide general office support as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience with accounting systems and proficient Excel skills
• Background in construction, engineering, or related industries is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Professional, collaborative, and customer-service-oriented mindset

Compensation:
Salary range up to $95,000.00 annually
