Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Construction Superintendent for a project in Philadelphia. This contract position offers an immediate start and the opportunity to oversee a fit-out for a retail location near the airport. The project duration is expected to run until approximately July 4th, with potential for future projects based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site for a retail fit-out project.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor project progress and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in light commercial, retail, or restaurant construction projects.
• Ability to manage a smaller-scale project (~$250,000) from start to finish.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• No ground-up experience necessary, but relevant commercial or retail project experience is required.
• Availability to start immediately.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: approximately $50/hour (negotiable based on experience).
• Duration: Project until around July 4th, 2024.
