Survey Project Manager - Warren, NJ
 
Our client is a premier land surveying firm with 30+ years experience seeking a Survey Project Manager for their Warren, NJ location. This role focuses on vertical construction surveying for high-rise buildings and mixed-use developments. Survey Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Quality control of all survey documents including survey plans, record plots, metes and bounds descriptions, title commitment reports, and construction layout services
  • Provide weekly progress and status reports on project deliverables to stakeholders and management team
  • Administer surveying activities including oversight of staff, technical resources, and client communication for multiple projects
  • Prepare and execute quality control reviews, safety and QA procedures
  • Effectively convey Integrated Business Model in business development discussions and maintain market leadership presence
  • Initiate and participate in business development activities to partner with new and existing clients
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Monitor project budgets and accountability for project profitability; prepare billing reports for monthly invoicing; work with accounting on collections
  • Staff development, contract preparation, know your numbers and be accountable for them
  • Champion company brand, values and culture with positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Work with cutting-edge technology including 3D laser scanning, mobile LiDAR, and UAV systems
 
Survey Project Manager Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of survey experience
  • Licensed Land Surveyor preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of business development and leadership
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex drawings and technical documents
  • Proficiency with technical software applications, spreadsheets, and business software

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + bonuses
