The Axel Group is seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our client's team out of Arlington, Virginia. This firm provides a wide variety of services to their clients ranging from construction management, general building, design build, preconstruction services, and more! 

The Senior Superintendent oversees all field operations for assigned project(s), ensuring each is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and time management abilities, along with excellent communication and client relationship skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Following and implementing the company safety policies.
• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
• Review and approve Trade Contractor Pay Applications and material invoices with the Project Manager
• Develop and maintain site logistics plan in coordination with the Project Manager
• Coordinate site testing and inspection reports
• Monitor costs, including labor time and material
• Manage the CPM schedule and look ahead schedules
• Development/coordinate/execute Safety, Hazcom, SWPPP, QA/QC plan, etc
• Attend and lead project meetings, including but not limited to preconstruction, preinstallation, subcontractor, owner, and safety
• Create daily reports and report quantities
• Assist with the Preconstruction/Estimating phase of the project
• Mobilizes the site and sets up utilities
• Assures necessary permits are secured, and inspections occur
• Reviews and verifies RFIs
• Reviews and approves submittals for processing
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. May substitute required education degree with related experience 
• 15 years of industry experience

Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000
