One of NJ's largest asphalt and construction material companies is looking to bring on an experienced Superintendent. Must have paving and milling experience, preferably on DOT projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the asphalt paving and milling activities of a small group of heavy highway construction workers
• Measure and calculate the total asphalt tonnage needed for the shift, ordering asphalt for the shift, as well as keeping accurate daily records including materials, production, and timesheets
• Work with foreman to ensure proper coding is being utilized on daily cost/time cards
• Ensure that utility mark-outs are completed and updated as required
• Proficient in scheduling material deliveries
• Perform routine safety and quality control checks on the project and enforce compliance, when required
• Proficient in scheduling project work flow with in-house construction crews and subcontractors
• Perform field measurements and track quantities for job costing
