The Axel Group is currently working with a client in Red Bank, NJ looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team! This person will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing restoration projects. This role involves assisting in the management of project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing on-site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure that all resources are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist in the inspection of completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards.
  • Prepare cost estimates and track expenditures to ensure projects stay within budget
  • Prepare regular status reports for the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project expenses and assist in managing project budgets.
  • Help maintain quality standards throughout the restoration process.
  • Assist in the allocation and management of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years' of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
