We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for commercial construction projects in Palm Beach County, FL. Our client is an industry leading organization specializing in delivering high-quality construction and project management services. Position Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the complete project lifecycle from estimating and pre-construction through to successful completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and engineers, ensuring ongoing collaboration and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive image of the company with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Collaborate with Preconstruction Services on value engineering and constructability assessments, soliciting bidders, estimating assistance, and proposal generation.
  • Set up and maintain project cost accounting systems, develop and manage project schedules, and ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Support the permitting, testing, and inspection requirements, and manage owner contract requirements.
  • Negotiate subcontractor agreements and oversee the procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Develop a Schedule of Values and manage monthly payment applications, reviewing and approving subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices.
  • Track and evaluate subcontractor changes and manage coordination meetings, documenting all progress.
  • Monitor jobsite activities to review project status, quality of work, and safety practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven success in managing multimillion-dollar projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and experience as an engaging leader and team player with at least 5 years of relevant construction experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with computer-based CPM Scheduling programs is preferred.
