Our Client is a growing Landscape Contractor that specializes in Government/Commercial projects throughout Central/North Jersey. They are actively seeking a motivated Superintendent to join their team out of Monmouth County, NJ.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the role of Superintendent in heavy landscape/construction. Landscape construction background preferred.
- Ability to work in New Jersey and within New York; namely the Five Boroughs, Orange, Rockland and Putnam counties.
- Be current with 40 hour OSHA/SST and all safety protocols and procedures per state and federal guidelines.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of civil drawings, specifications, addendums, and contract language requirements.
- Ability to manage and lead construction crews daily.
- Create daily scheduling and lookaheads. Manage critical schedule dates.
- Ability to order materials & conduct buy-outs.
- Be familiar with submittals and understand the process around submitting required contractual documents.
- Comprehensive understanding of job costing. Maintain project costs daily and work to achieve projected PGM.
- Ability to submit monthly payment requisitions and assist in collecting monthly payments to final payment.
- Manage change orders
- Close out government and public projects on budget and on time.
- Finalize all payment quantities, delivery tickets, backup measurements, ledger documentations and other work performed.
- Strong software skills. Be familiar with software systems such as Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Salesforce and Office 365.
- Possess strong communication skills and follow up skills
- Ability to foster relationships.
- Strong ability to lead.
