Our client is an award-winning engineering firm seeking a full-time, Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) in their Fort Worth office. They have been awarded "Best Firms to Work For" multiple years in a row. As a Structural EIT, you will work closely with the Project Manager and other Professional Engineers to design and produce structural construction documents in all market sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, historical, and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with design drawings, specifications, calculation packages, reports, and other project deliverables.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for structural steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and other materials to complete project documents.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with clients, consultants, owners, and internal staff members on projects.
• Perform construction administration duties such as reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and site observations.
• Produce drawings utilizing AutoCAD or Revit, while utilizing additional calculation or analysis software.

Required Education & Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least two (2) years’ experience working in a Structural Designer or Structural Engineer role in the consulting industry with experience in Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software such as RISA or Tekla Tedds.
• Engineer in Training certification

Salary:

• $70,000-$85,000
