Salary- $60,000-$65,000

Collection and Foreclosure Paralegal- Experience with Mortgage Foreclosure:

• Prepares all Notice of Hearings.
• Pull Mortgage/Satisfaction Search.
• Prepare Answer/Affirmative Defenses
• Scheduling Hearings.
• Understand and comply with the provisions of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and related state laws.
• Prepares any additional documents needed with the complaint package ex: civil cover sheet, summons, exhibits etc.
• Prepares all foreclosure pleadings.
• Prepares the Motion for Summary Judgment package.
• Prepares the Final Judgment, including the Notice of Sale.
• Prepares cover letter to the judge for any correspondence to judge, etc. (Ex: submission of a proposed order, final judgment, original documents, etc.).
• Prepare any Motions for Case Management Conference, Notice of Trial, Motions to Reschedule Sale, etc.

• Proficient in the use of technology applications such as document management software, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• E-filing.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.

• Paralegal Certificate and/or Associates or degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with mortgage foreclosure.
