Our client is an award-winning engineering firm looking for a Project Engineer for an opening in their Fort Worth, TX office. They are known for their strong emphasis on company culture and the professional development of their employees. The Project Engineer is responsible for the production and execution of design for a variety of public sector projects, including municipal public works infrastructure and transportation improvements.

Position Requirements: 

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of Texas, or the ability to obtain State of Texas P.E. certification within one year

Professional 

  • Responsive and service-oriented attitude
  • Design experience with roadway, drainage, water, and sanitary sewer improvements
  • Three to six (3-6) years of experience in public works infrastructure design preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities/Expectations:  

  • Assisting in the design, production and delivery of public works projects (i.e.: streets, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, and highway projects)
  • Organizing and scheduling work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelines
  • Assisting Project Managers in the management of projects and clients
  • Coordination and collaboration with other disciplines and departments
  • Assisting in various aspects of construction administration
  • Assisting in the mentoring of Graduate Engineers and Designers
Salary:
  • $90,000-$115,000
